Brighton and Hove Albion favourites to sign David Gonzalez

Sky Sports have said that Brighton and Hove Albion are leading the chase for the signature of Columbia international goalkeeper David Gonzalez.

Gonzalez has had his contract mutually terminated at Manchester City following a loan spell at Aberdeen earlier this season.

The 29-year-old impressed during his spell at Pittodrie and has attracted interest from a number of clubs in England.

Now a free agent the keeper is looking to seal a move elsewhere and Brighton are allegedly in pole position to land him ahead of Championship rivals Burnley and a number of League One clubs.
